My experience with Lamaze began in 1971 in Berkley, CA.  During the days of twilight sleep, my mother was taught how to birth her baby while remaining awake and alert.  I was that lucky baby!  When it came time to birth my own baby in 2004, I knew I wanted to experience natural childbirth.  I have since experienced a total of 5 births and my husband and I have been blessed with amazing educators and practitioners along the way.

 

After the birth of our one and only daughter, I decided I wanted to become a Lamaze educator in the hopes that I could help other couples have a positive experience with birth.  I was certified through Lamaze International in 2010 and have loved working with couples as they prepare for this memorable life-experience.

 

I teach Lamaze classes out of my home in NE San Antonio, between Windcrest and Converse.  I also teach nationwide online classes with the same individual attention, but with more flexibility in scheduling.
